Abstract

Ushbu maqolada soʻz oʻyini pragmatik hodisa sifatida qaraladi va oʻzbek hamda ingliz tillari materialida qiyosan tahlil etiladi. Muallif soʻz oʻyinining asosiy turlarini koʻrsatib, uning maʼnosi qanday qilib muloqot jarayonida shakllanishini, kontekst va umumiy bilimning bundagi oʻrnini hamda pragmatik vazifalarini aniq misollar asosida ochib beradi.

Автор выделяет основные виды игры слов и на конкретных примерах раскрывает, каким образом её значение формируется в процессе коммуникации, а также определяет роль контекста и общих знаний и её прагматические функции.

This article examines wordplay as a pragmatic phenomenon and provides a comparative analysis based on materials from the Uzbek and English languages. The author identifies the main types of wordplay and, through specific examples, demonstrates how its meaning is formed in the process of communication, as well as the role of context and shared knowledge and its pragmatic functions.
