Abstract

Maqolada o‘zbek va ingliz xalq topishmoqlarida uchraydigan lingvokulturemalar qiyosiy-tipologik yo‘nalishda tahlil qilingan. Topishmoq matnida milliy madaniyatga xos predmet, taom, kiyim, mehnat quroli, tabiat obrazi, son va rang ifodalarining yashirin obyektni tavsiflashdagi vazifasi ochib beriladi. Tahlil natijasida ikki til materiallarida umumiy kognitiv modellar insonlashtirish, predmetni boshqa predmet orqali modellashtirish, qism-butun munosabati va paradoksal belgi berish mushtarak ekani, ularning leksik ifodasi esa milliy tajribaga bog‘liq holda farqlanishi aniqlandi. O‘zbek topishmoqlarida to‘n, patir, qozon, qoziq, tandir kabi etnomadaniy birliklar faol bo‘lsa, ingliz topishmoqlarida house, key, clock, bottle, needle singari maishiy va texnik obrazlar ko‘proq uchraydi. Lingvokulturema topishmoqning nafaqat nominatsion, balki estetik va madaniy-xotira funksiyasini ham ta’minlaydi.

The article provides a comparative-typological analysis of linguoculturemes in Uzbek and English riddles. It identifies culturally marked units connected with clothing, food, household objects, nature, tools, numbers and colors and explains their role in encoding the hidden referent. The findings show that common cognitive models are realized through nationally specific lexical material. Therefore, riddles preserve cultural memory while functioning as compact poetic and intellectual texts.
