Abstract

Mazkur maqolada o‘zbek tilidagi o‘zlashma so‘zlarning derivatsion faolligi hamda ularning so‘z yasash tizimidagi funksional xususiyatlari zamonaviy lingvistikaning tizimli yondashuvlari asosida tadqiq etiladi. Tadqiqotning maqsadi o‘zlashma birliklarning derivatsion salohiyatini aniqlash, ularning yangi leksik birliklar hosil qilishdagi ishtirokini baholash hamda zamonaviy o‘zbek tili leksik tizimi rivojiga ta’sirini ilmiy asosda yoritishdan iborat. Tadqiqot davomida tavsifiy, qiyosiy, tizimli tahlil va lingvistik umumlashtirish metodlaridan foydalanildi. Tahlil uchun arab, fors, rus va ingliz tillaridan o‘zlashgan hamda zamonaviy o‘zbek tilida faol qo‘llanilayotgan leksik birliklar tanlab olindi. Tadqiqot natijalari o‘zlashma so‘zlarning derivatsion faolligi ularning fonetik va morfologik integratsiyasi, qo‘llanish chastotasi hamda kommunikativ ehtiyoj darajasi bilan bevosita bog‘liqligini ko‘rsatdi. Shuningdek, o‘zlashma birliklarning milliy affikslar yordamida yangi hosila so‘zlar yaratish imkoniyatlari tahlil qilinib, ularning derivatsion faolligini baholash mezonlari taklif etildi. Olingan natijalar o‘zbek tili leksikologiyasi, so‘z yasash nazariyasi, terminologiya va leksikografiya yo‘nalishlarida olib boriladigan ilmiy tadqiqotlar uchun nazariy hamda metodologik ahamiyatga ega.

DERIVATIONAL ACTIVITY OF LOANWORDS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE AND THEIR ROLE IN THE FORMATION OF NEW WORDS

This article investigates the derivational productivity of loanwords in the Uzbek language and their functional characteristics within the word-formation system from the perspective of modern linguistic approaches. The aim of the study is to determine the derivational potential of borrowed lexical units, evaluate their role in the formation of new lexical items, and provide a scientific explanation of their contribution to the development of the contemporary Uzbek lexical system. Descriptive, comparative, systemic, and linguistic generalization methods were employed in the research. The analysis was based on loanwords of Arabic, Persian, Russian, and English origin that are actively used in modern Uzbek. The findings reveal that the derivational productivity of loanwords is directly associated with the degree of their phonetic and morphological integration, frequency of use, and communicative demand. Furthermore, the study analyzes the formation of new lexical units through native derivational affixes and proposes criteria for evaluating the derivational productivity of borrowed words. The obtained results provide a theoretical and methodological basis for further studies in Uzbek lexicology, word formation, terminology, and lexicography.
