This thesis examines the techniques of artistic representation of the human psyche and the inner world of characters in the prose of Abduqayum Yo‘ldosh. Based on the writer’s short stories Alvido, go‘zallik…, Parim bo‘lsa, Vijdon, Loy odamlar qavmi, Puankare, Quduq, and Tushov, as well as the novellas Sunbulaning ilk shanbasi and Timsohning ko‘z yoshlari, the study analyzes the artistic functions of interior monologue, dialogue, psychological detail, psychological portrait, speech characterization, memory, and dream imagery. Particular attention is paid to the representation of the characters’ hidden emotions and inner conflicts, including feelings of astonishment, suffering, regret, and protest through interior monologue. The study demonstrates that the writer employs psychological representation to portray the characters’ inner states in close connection with their social environment, life experience, and internal conflicts
