The thesis provides a socio-philosophical analysis of digital ethics and responsibility as the moral foundation of youth cyberculture. Drawing on the views of N. Wiener, L. Floridi, I. Kant, E. Levinas, and H. Jonas, the content and principles of digital ethics are substantiated. The disappearance of “the face of the Other” behind the screen is shown to be the main cause of moral weakening in the online environment, and three dimensions of digital responsibility (towards oneself, others, and society) are revealed.
