THE PHENOMENON OF POLYSEMY IN HISTORICAL TERMINOLOGY

This article examines the phenomenon of polysemy in historical terminology, analyzes the semantic characteristics of historical terms, and discusses the principles of their representation in explanatory dictionaries. Furthermore, it presents scholarly observations on the semantic development and usage characteristics of selected historical terms.
