Abstract
Mazkur maqolada Hindiston kinematografiyasining shakllanishi va rivojlanish bosqichlari tahlil qilinadi. Unda dastlabki ovozsiz filmlar davridan boshlab zamonaviy raqamli texnologiyalar davrigacha bo‘lgan jarayonlar ko‘rib chiqiladi. Shuningdek, hind kinosining milliy o‘ziga xosligi, janrlar xilma-xilligi, hamda uning jahon kino sanoatidagi o‘rni yoritiladi. Kino sanoatining ijtimoiy, madaniy va iqtisodiy omillar bilan o‘zaro bog‘liqligi ham ochib beriladi.
